Sofrito est un label, une soirée , un collectif de Dj's au son des rythmes cubains, latins, afro , antillais....Hugo Mendez l'un des dj's, diggers du collectif est de passage régulièrement sur Paris, Marseille, Montpellier....
A leur actif des soirées avec des invités comme Manu Dibango, the Poets of Rhythm, the Souljazz Orchestra, Quantic, Nickodemus...

Sofrito is run by DJ’s Hugo Mendez and Frankie Francis alongside The Mighty Crime Minister and designer-extraordinaire Lewis Heriz.
Sofrito is the home of the Tropical Discotheque – rejoicing in the heaviest rhythms from Africa, the Caribbean and South America. 
The Sofrito Specials label champions the Tropical Discotheque sound – mixing up raw Afro flavours with Disco and Latin rhythms
